Pompano Beach is emerging as its own exciting destination on the South Florida coast. Located just south of tiny Hillsborough Beach and Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach is right in the heart of the development seen in recent years between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton. Curtain Call Playhouse

Pompano Beach is home to its very own center of the arts, the Curtain Call Playhouse, which hosts several professional productions yearly. This old and valued community playhouse is one of only few along the South Florida shore that is not in Fort Lauderdale or Miami. The Curtain Call Playhouse also attracts some of the top acting talent from other regions in the country, as some northeastern professional actors even take up residences in Pompano Beach for some of the productions. Additionally, this local playhouse also hosts acting courses and community productions for leading titles and other local writers and directors.
